Rescuer?????

What makes a person “heroic?”
What I think makes a person heroic is probably different than others, I would say that being a hero is putting your life on the line to save others.
Does a hero possess certain qualities? Or is a hero defined by his or her actions?
I dont think that a hero possesses qualities but they possess the will and bravery to help. Yes, I do think that a hero would be defined by his or her actions because he is attempting to rescue people.
Was Schindler a hero?
In my eyes I think that Schindler is most definitely a hero, the reason for this is because he save eleven hundred people and if you don't think that defines a hero, I don't what is.
